Why do you have this directory?
The founder of Main Street Safety had an unfortunate experience while out of state and found out first hand the important need for one place to search online for safety organizations.
What is the directory?
The directory is a search engine listing of various safety organizations around the United States. Organizations can be found listed by topic or you can use a word search.
What websites can be included?
Main Street Safety is an online safety community, so our primary focus is on safety organizations - local, regional or national. In addition, our staff researchers will be adding federal and state government websites with a safety focus. Future plans include an expansion into safety services such as self-defense training.
How can I add my website to this directory?
Visit the online directory and click on the "Add URL" link that will take you to an online form. SPECIAL NOTE: In the Description field, include important keywords or phrases that describe your services.
How will I know if my website will be added to this directory?
Within one business week of your initial application, our staff will review your site and send you an email to confirm that you have been added to the directory.
Do I need to have a mutual link to be included in this directory?
No. Our primary focus is to include as many safety organizations as possible in our directory. Of course, you are always welcome to add our link to your site or share this safety resource with others.
